POLICies

Services: Service begins at your scheduled time. You MUST arrive with hair in READY condition to receive your scheduled service. In the event that you arrive with hair in unready condition, such as un-detangled hair, un-combed hair, or previous styles un-removed, you will be subject to a "prep fee" of $25 in addition to the charges for a detangle service. You will also be subject to your appointment being removed due to a scheduling conflict.

 

Service Deposit: 

Service deposits are applied to the total amount of service and are due at booking time. Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be used towards a rescheduled appointment but are forfeited on a cancelled one.

Late Policy:

Clients have a 15 min grace period for arriving to appointments. Any client who arrives more than 15 min after appointment time will be charged a $15 late fee and services may be subject to rescheduling if time does not permit. Any deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation requested/applied after the required time of within 24 hours, will result in a $15 cancellation fee that must be rendered before next booking.

No Call/No Show Policy:

Clients who no call/no show will not be allowed to book and service or packages with The Edge Control.

Color Services:

Color services are a chemical service and must have a client consultation once service is booked and prior to rendered service. It is up to the stylist discretion to proceed with serviced bases on results of consultation.

Extensions: 

Hair is only included in braid services. Hair colors offered are 1, 1B, 2, 4, & 4/27. Hair is NOT INCLUDED in natural hair, crochet, or tape-in services. Extension service prices do not change if client chooses to purchase hair other than what is provided.

Package Deposit:

In order to secure an appointment client is required to pay 1/3 (one third) of service amount (non-refundable). The deposit will be applied to total at the end of service. Once service is confirmed, an invoice will be sent via email and payment will be processed via PayPal.

Package Late Policy:

All appointments begin and end on time so that the next client is not delayed. If the service does not start on time, the service time will be reduced accordingly, and you will be still be required to pay full price. If a client is more than 15 minutes late, the client will be required to pay a late fee of $15 for every 15 minutes the client is late. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointment time. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with advanced notification of late arrival.

 

Service & Package Cancellation or No Show Policy:

As a courtesy to other clients & the stylist, appointments must be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled or re-scheduled without a minimum of 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee of 1/4 of the amount of the full service or package price. In the case in which a deposit was paid, deposit will act in place of cancellation fee. The same fee applies to no-shows. *Clients with unpaid fees will not be allowed to book future service and are subject to legal action.

 

Package Appointment Time Change Policy:

Appointment time changes are only allowed once and must be given 48 hours in advance. If appointment time is changed last minute (less than 48 hours), client will be charged a fee of $10 to accommodate the new time.

 

Package Relocation Policy:

If you require styling touch ups or assistance and the prep location is different from the photoshoot or final location, your appointment will be subjected to a $25.00 relocation fee.

 

Package Last Minute Appointment Policy:

Any appointments booked less 48 hours of the requested appointment date will be subjected to a $20 last minute appointment fee.

Package Rescheduling Appointments:

In order for the deposit to be honored on the new appointment date, the new appointment needs to be rescheduled within 1 month from the previous appointment date. If not, a new deposit will be required in order to book a new appointment.

Traveling Fee:

Any appointments outside of Cordele, GA, will be subjected to a traveling fee. Traveling fees are calculated based on millage or distance.

 

Parking Fee:

Any parking, valet or toll fees must be paid by client, if applicable. 

 

Liability:

All tools and products are kept sanitary. All tools are sanitized between every client. Any skin conditions or sensitivities of the client(s) should be reported to the stylist prior to service. We are not responsible for any injuries that happen in the salon or onsite, unless its directly caused from the stylist. 

Refunds & Returns:

Refunds and returns can only be given on wearable merchandise. Services and haircare products are non-refundable/non-returnable.

Privacy Policy:

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile. When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only. 

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations. 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
